Notepad++ deserves a slightly higher cross-platform score, because it runs mostly OK in Wine.

I really can&#039;t see the point of giving an &#039;Aesthetics&#039; score, since it&#039;s so subjective. Sure, we might want things to look attractive, but everyone has different ideas of what that means. Leave it to the individual programmer to rate that.

And my personal favorite is Geany, but I have only briefly tried Sublime, so I won&#039;t knock it.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[PHPEd (from nusphere) is quite good. I&#039;ve been using it for something like eight years now. It lacks a lot of the bells and whistles that ST2 has and they tend to be a few years behind on aesthetics, but it really is the best &lt;b&gt;ide&lt;/b&gt; out there. It knows your code base quite well and is extremely fast and efficient. It&#039;s windows / Linux only, though.
